Department Mission
The Technical Division's Support Department includes the Facilities Management Group and the Environment, Safety and Health Group. The department is a service organization which supports the mission of the Technical Division and Fermilab in every respect.
Facilities Management is charged with maintaining Technical Division properties to the highest standards possible using available resources. The group makes necessary improvements to properties and it participates in new construction projects.
The Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) group's goal is to help the division conduct Technical Division processes in the safest manner by means of providing expert ES&H advice and by assisting in the timely mediation of unsafe conditions.
