Proton Driver 2004: Tevatron Working Group

This is the homepage for Tevatron Working Group of Fermilab Proton Driver Workshop (Oct. 6-9, 2004) physics study. This working group is devoted to physics studies related to the Tevatron Collider in the era of a 2MW proton driver. This is one of the working groups created in order to try to do as thorough a job as possible in exploring and documenting the breadth of the physics case for a high intensity proton driver.

The Tevatron Working Group will study the possible physics interests at a much higher intensity Tevatron Collider operating after BTeV and after the LHC experiments have already collected a large dataset. Besides b- and c-quark flavour physics, the group will study the opportunities afforded by the unique features of the Tevatron. These include differences in production and backgrounds for a collider using antiprotons and operating at lower energies than the LHC.
